* <s>Something is forcing all labels to the violet swatch, but only on this page, and not when they're called on other pages? This is a classname issue; the <code>field_mdem</code> class itself is getting passed to sense labels when it shouldn't be, and the sense labels should be overriding it with their own classnames that are set on their pages.
