=== <span><span class="tts"><span class="visual">Rouxls</span><s class="bracket"> (</s><s class="help">pronounced </s><i class="aural">Rules</i><s class="bracket">)</s></span></span> === The bottom of the tunnel system is, comically, not actually that far from where the heroes decide to turn around and go back. It's maybe a fourth of the distance you've gone so far. There are no new Darkners here, only repeats of Darkners already found somewhere else which do not count toward the Dark World's "good ending". When you finally get to the bottom, Asgore is there chipping dirt off some kind of stone relief on the wall, along with... {{TTS|tts=Rules Card|Rouxls Kaard}}? He now has a deep blue detective hat, and looks very proud of himself for becoming assistant detective. {{b|tts=Rules:|Rouxls:}} (Howest didst I do?) <ref name="rk"/><br/> {{b|Susie:}} {{stage|[eyes narrowed]}} (Kris. There is very clearly a second Dark Fountain into the burnt flower world in the background placed in a different location than the first one.]}} {{stage|[When the view returns, only Susie and Ralsei are in view. Ralsei is looking down the passage very worried. Susie is not afraid, but is frowning. Something is apparently very wrong.]}}<br/> {{b|Ralsei:}} {{stage|[to Susie]}} Um. What do we do about this?<br/> {{b|Susie:}} Well, first we stop worrying.<br/> {{b|Susie:}} Kris.<br/> {{b|Susie:}} You caused this. So you're going to have to fix it. The camera finally pans back over to Kris and Asgore, and immediately brings the two of them up into a simple encounter. Asgore is silently staring at Kris confused and hurt, cradling one hand that appears to be bleeding for mysterious reasons. It's not really clear from first glance which of the two might have inflicted the wound, or what was used. Asgore doesn't appear to be carrying a blade or pointed object. So, did Kris stab him? Kris looks much too calm right now to have done that. You'd think they'd look just a little afraid of someone catching them for having stabbed someone. But no. Kris only looks vaguely... disappointed. As if this isn't the thing that should have resulted from whatever the two of them just attempted to do, and perhaps Asgore should have been tougher against the blow or maybe Kris just finds him totally clueless and stabbing his hand was a stupid ill-conceived method for doing whatever was supposed to be done. Whatever it was that just happened, the two of them are on the encounter screen now. You can Defend for no particular reason. You can use an item. If you press the Mercy button, Asgore will just continue to look hurt and confused, so you can't Spare him yet. You can "Fight" Asgore, which Kris seems to interpret as something like "harshly argue with". {{stage|[Fight]}}<br/> <nowiki>*</nowiki> {{stage|You lightly punch Asgore on the shoulder and tell him he could have done a lot better.}}<br/> {{b|Asgore:}} No. I see. I shouldn't be meddling in this. But the most interesting thing happens when you open the Act menu. Kris now knows a new action called "HealingLight". When you use this, a ray of light pours in on Asgore and he stops bleeding. You can then Spare him, and things go back to the overworld. {{b|Asgore:}} I see. I see how all this is.<br/> {{b|Asgore:}} This is far worse than I could have imagined.<br/> {{b|Asgore:}} Maybe... I'll just go home.<br/> {{b|Asgore:}} Maybe it's better that you three handle this.<br/> {{b|Asgore:}} What?<br/> {{b|Asgore:}} When the fountain closes I'll go home?<br/> {{b|Asgore:}} Okay. Well, maybe I'll stay down here then. Those flowers have seen a lot of things.<br/> {{b|tts=Rules:|Rouxls:}} I can keep thoust company.<br/> {{b|Susie:}} No. I have something better for you to do.<br/> {{stage|[Susie opens the spellbook.]}}<br/> {{b|Susie:}} Get in here, and you can meet the Knight.<br/> {{stage|[{{TTS|tts=Rules|Rouxls}} looks at the book stunned, apparently pretty keen on this offer, and dissolves into a bunch of sparkles that go into the book.]}}<br/> {{b|Asgore:}} {{stage|[disappointed]}} ...Oh.<br/> {{stage|[Asgore looks down at himself like "what am I doing with my life", and the three heroes head on their way.]}} If you come back, Asgore will have left for a different part of the Dark World; he does not just stay down there looking miserable. If you bother to go back to the flower detective agency more toward the beginning, he will actually be there attempting to explain his findings in the tunnels to the Darkners, with several new boards up on the walls. If you successfully got {{TTS|tts=Rules Card|Rouxls Kaard}}, the Oll'een fight will be a lot easier, because not only can all three characters heal to some extent, but you can use {{TTS|tts=Rules|Rouxls}} to change up the rules and undo some of Oll'een's annoying tricks. We've come full circle. {{TTS|tts=Rules Card|Rouxls Kaard}} gained a weird malicious mirror of himself in Oll'een, but you can also defeat the outwardly-evil foil to {{TTS|tts=Rules Card|Rouxls Kaard}} with the not-so-bad one.
