=== Final room === From here, Kris, Susie, and Noelle can go back around through the Titan world to try to find anything they missed, including Sparable shadow Darkners, journals, or the Shadow Crystal character that appears seemingly-randomly throughout two of the six basement floors in the same way the secret room does. With enough searching, they can come down to the bottom floor and unlock the final room. Inside, kneeled on the floor awkwardly, is a Roaring Knight. It doesn't look all that imposing in here. It doesn't look malicious, or like it's ready to taunt them. It just looks vaguely sad. It simply gazes at the three of them like it wants to be let out of here. But its hands are stuck to the floor by some unknown invisible force and it can't stand up. {{stage|[The three open the door and enter the room.]}}
{{b|Susie:}} {{stage|[bracing, draws shadowed axe]}} The {{em|Knight.}}
{{stage|[Noelle is tensed up. There is an awkward silence.]}}
{{b|Susie:}} So what now? Do we... kill it?
{{b|Ralsei:}} {{stage|[from spellbook]}} I don't think it wants to hurt us.
{{b|Oll'een:}} {{stage|[from spellbook]}} No, it's not a good idea to get close.
{{stage|[Noelle is calm now.]}}
{{b|Noelle:}} You two stay where you are, I'm going to try something.
{{stage|[Noelle very cautiously steps closer to the Knight, a little afraid it will suddenly become aggressive, but it only watches her and lets her walk over and sit down beside it.]}}
{{b|Noelle:}} Hello? ...Dess?
{{stage|[Noelle gently reaches up and tries to lift off the Knight's helmet, thinking that even if it's a shadow being it will probably just have a shadow body and face. But instead, the moment she removes the helmet it just peels off like a shed insect carapace and there is another identical Knight head underneath. Noelle drops the Knight shell in shock.]}}
{{b|Noelle:}} {{stage|[disconcerted]}} ...Oh.
{{b|Susie:}} Looks like The Knight is The Knight.
{{b|Noelle:}} Um.
{{b|Noelle:}} Uh, well, we can still free it, right?
{{stage|[Noelle reaches out slowly and carefully toward the space just above the Knight's hand, as if afraid she might bump into something. Then, very unexpectedly, she cuts her hand on something and pulls it back with a shout.]}}
{{b|Noelle:}} {{stage|[clutching hand]}} Uchh. There's nothing solid there but it can still cut you.
{{b|Noelle:}} It's like...
{{b|Noelle:}} A shard of glass?
{{b|Oll'een:}} {{stage|[eyes narrowed]}} I tried to tell you there was a trap.
{{stage|[Susie walks toward Knight with her axe at the ready]}}
{{b|Susie:}} Let me.
{{stage|[The Knight conjures a couple of floating daggers and glares into Susie before she can get any closer.]}}
{{b|Susie:}} {{stage|[puts down axe]}} Okay, okay.
{{b|Susie:}} I thought, if parts of you are just going to grow back... why notβ...
{{stage|[The Knight disappears the floating daggers and seems to have calmed down.]}}
{{b|Noelle:}} {{stage|[still, serious; speaking a bit to the floor]}} ...I think it would hurt too much.
{{b|Noelle:}} Darkners may be fake, in one way, but they're also our thoughts. If you chop one up, even if it goes back together it will have gone through a lot of pain.
{{stage|[Susie is quiet. She charges up a healing blast and fires it at Noelle's hand so Noelle can stop pressing it. It seems to have worked. The cut is still there, but it's dry and isn't bleeding now.]}}
{{stage|[Ralsei pops out next to Susie, and tries to cast a spell on the Knight. It doesn't seem to do much of anything. The Knight is still pinned to the floor.]}} (If this is a game, a lot of this scene might take the form of another creepily minimal encounter screen like the guitars from the other floors where as soon as Noelle steps close it's just Noelle and the Knight and several futile actions you can take in no particular order. Or, an encounter with room for dialogue and complex movements? Having the screen be all Titan-world-encounter minimal until suddenly Susie walks onto it to "help" would definitely be funny.) There is one more thing you can do in the Knight room. If Kris has collected at least two Shadow Crystals, and Spared both of the Shadow Crystal characters, they can hold up the Shadow Crystal and look at the Knight. They see the same room with no Knight in it, and only two rather large jagged shards of glass pinned into the floor, black as obsidian yet much sharper. Those must not be in this room exactly, but they're still {{em|somewhere}}. Susie and Noelle are still visible. The shadow weapons are invisible. Their hand is also visible this time, instead of disappearing β which makes Kris uncomfortable for reasons they cannot explain. At this point, there is not a lot else to do in terms of saving the Knight. If Kris' party has closed all the bubbling Titan vents on any particular floor, both it and the floor {{em|below it}} will have more light shining through at the top, and each will take on more of a textured, stormy appearance instead of being totally dark. By the time all the floors have been cleaned up, they will start to look like a neat gradient of darkness where the first basement floor is not very dark at all and they each get stormier as you go down, showing this nice gradient of lighter paths on top and dark paths you can see winding around on the floor below. As the three make it back to the first floor, they can finally see rays of sunlight coming in through the final set of gray clouds at the top of the Titan world, and the fountain at the center, glowing bright blue and lighting up its inky surroundings. The three of them are lifted into the fountain, and as they float upward, the red heart shines. Chapter 6 ends here.
