== Idea origin ==

This is the idea of writing <s>a text</s> using a small count of different words — around 100 to 150 — like with toki pona, but not the same words. The origin of the words can be any: English, German, Latin, anything. The main different feature of this kind of writing is it always defines words and word groups; reading words becomes easier. The purpose is writing [[E:ontology (structural model)|idea definitions]] that are easier to read.

One originating purpose for en-x-pona is that people wanted to change the words in toki pona, but the group of words in toki pona cannot change. When toki pona is changed into a writing challenge where people can use any words inside a count of 100 to 150, this conflict of people with toki pona is gone.

<!-- There are around two rules: 1) the words used are 2) . -->
<!--
There are approximately two rules: almost all the words should be common words, and the words should be chosen as if the text is novel-length and it's important to pick as versatile of words as possible. Apart from that, proper names are allowed, and jargon words can be used sparingly only if they have been defined in the same text. Some particles and grammar patterns may not count toward the total number of words, at least for the purposes of remaining under 120 words, but you must be able to demonstrate that they can be found in an introductory language textbook.
