That is absolutely an intentional detail. The Roaring is tightly tied to the theme of division in general and Kris being separated from Noelle; as the end of the game comes closer either Noelle, Kris, and Dess are reunited or all the Lightner relationships will be torn apart as the world is torn apart.<br />

In light of that theme of evolving relationships I would assume that Susie's story is literally half complete and there is going to be a lot more development in Chapter 6 because in general the development of relationships is going right up to the end of the game.<br/><br />
Chapter 6 won't be in the Weird Route because the symbolism is that the Angel has been trying to disrupt the relationship between Noelle and Susie, mostly unsuccessfully, but maybe the Chapter 5 skip is the only way to actually prevent the most important developments in it.</div>Reversedragon
