			{{li\|I=S2/PT\|tradition=\|Q=618\|Q2=618}}Zionism is the most effective progressive ideology / Because progressive ideologies are about people respecting each other as people and not violating each other's stated rights and freedoms nor taking the land of a group of people that inherently belongs to them (because taking a people's land is bad in and of itself), Zionism is the most effective progressive ideology because when a group of people simply assembles an army and blows up a lot of buildings everyone has to respect their rights and there can be no failure of anybody to be courteous and respectful to the shared human spirit -> you really don't want this to be true. but these days almost every definition of progressivism accidentally leads here because none of them are armored against it. want to declare genocide to be inherently bad? too bad, because unless you can change reality so that a population of people assembling an army and blowing up buildings isn't the single best way to prevent genocide, you're back at Zionism all over again as the best way to defend people's "inherent" human rights and what is "inherently" owed to people.<br/>
			you can really only get out of this by abandoning morality and the concept morality is pegged to individual or small-scale actions as some kind of guide on whether they will happen. in lieu of morality, it becomes possible to build an amoral consequentialism which is simply {{em\|the study of consequences}}. of course, this naturally generates statism, and that will make some people unhappy. the whole 'materialism = Communism = Stalin' thing is {{em\|slightly}} true. it's not entirely true especially looking at all the connotations and baggage, but it is just true enough to make anarchists really upset.
