{{li|start=y|I=S2/MX|Q=618|Q2=618}}Narratives are objective because they step out of lived experience and turn it into an analyzable object -> there we go! why I think that analysis of literature and anecdotes is perfectly fine for analyzing society. there's nothing special about Lived Experience or "empathy" or "sensitivity" or "not being callous", not whatsoever. but there is something special about writing down a narrative of somebody's experience in third person. it makes that real or imagined experience possible to analyze by other people in a way an individual experiencing it cannot.<br />
it's amazing how much you learn about fiction by just doing literary analysis of fan fiction and author inserts. I swear I learned a couple lectures' worth by just analyzing the hell out of So Sorry and forced weird route and whether it's good or bad they break fourth walls.

{{li|I=S2/Fy/IV|tradition=EC, EC thru IV|Q=43,19|Q2=4319}}Fiction is not objective / Fictional narratives which are character-based and contain point-of-view characters cannot present a neutral perspective -> this is great, because for a while I was turning over in my mind why it is that bodies of fictional facts seem more "objective" than reality. was it because they're inherently meta-ontological and (nearly) neutral to everything inside them? now I know. it's more like the opposite of that. fictional narratives feel "objective" partly because they are grounded in hypothetical material objects that must have a perspective relative to other material objects, both in the very literal sense that a camera has a perspective, but also by extension in a figurative sense. the problem that Marxism must be done inside the perspective of a particular party and it is inevitable that those parties themselves will clash applies to all fictional characters or factions and the clashing narratives told by each of them. every single choice of point-of-view character represents a way of editing or "editorializing" the narrative.
