Stalinism has physically died and there is hardly ever an attempt to create Stalin's Marxism in the First World that is actually effective. Khruschevism-Dengism-Juche has been strangely resilient and Maoism is still a contender in Third World countries inasmuch as it doesn't pretend to avoid turning into Dengism, but it isn't really fair to say that Dengism "succeeded" because it was Marxism as much as because it is capitalism or because it is the successful realization of Menshevism. Dengism isn't "really" a Marxism. Stalinism is over. Trotskyism is not over. this is apparently false as written.
