I defined the concept of "Stalinists and Trotskyists run into each other, Trotskyists try their best to survive, Stalinist republic falls apart" as violet rather early on into putting together violet Marxism and kept it as violet the whole time, but it seems that if you really boil it down to its component processes this is dialectical materialism. the notion of "molecularization" where Marxist parties increasingly learn about themselves by interacting with the world and the notion of dialectical materialism overlap and to some extent are the same, though I'm not sure they're exactly the same.
