New page

<pre># In search of Saralya
(title)

the core tyrian storyline like, from memory as best as I can remember it, a ton of stuff discarded, it's best almost entirely rewritten but some of the ideas were good

Artifices Absurditatum - one of the few Tyrian/RFS things that doesn't have to be renamed or redrawn
'what is modern is quite over with
'to think people once believed things could be "true".
'"true"! to think.
'the arrogance. in a world where everything has been changing since fried eggs replaced Sunday. oh, wait, that's baconday this week.
'we're far beyond any of that "truth" nonsense. so really, we all may as well make the best of it — aim for the sky to reach your wildest dreams.
'here's to the Fantasy Attribute, the greatest idea in this world.
'may we all be sublime, and may we all be free.'

they believe nothing is true, but like, in a way that's fun. in a way where everything is wildly distorted and warped through creativity and seems to know no limits of where it will stop. very unlike any actual philosophy paper you'll read that can be totally frustrating; the AAs are actually quite funny

I feel like the phrase "the greatest idea in this world" could become a recurring theme. in every era depicted in each specific story arc, people have a favourite ""idea"" and they love to call it "the greatest idea in this world" hoping it will last forever and others won't take its position although it never happens that way. except maybe in a few super broken "SCP-001" type scenarios that are way on another level, who knows

Artifices are like totally and utterly overbearing
world possibly tears itself apart in one big rift of Nothing as the power of distortion compounds on itself to destroy the world
storyline ends
if there are good endings to this period that was the bad ending

back at the 'pataphysical laboratory of the four guardians where they churn out historical periods as simulations that are also true just by existing, in small part just for fun
stolenheart: that one was totally intolerable. I can't believe you thought that was a good idea.
arcturuse: but their passion is the thought that counts
