[https://www.marxists.org/history/usa/workers/black-panthers/] from the outside, it would appear that people in the Black subpopulation observed that their subpopulation had not been powerful enough to outlast everything around it, determined that creating a "decentralized resistance" was somehow more viable, and then went around informing White people that this also made sense for White people when the conditions weren't really the same and if the Black Panthers proved that liberating the United States starting at a self-contained Black Marxism wouldn't succeed, then they also logically proved that feeding Black people and White people the same strategies or expecting them to be part of the same movement was the wrong thing to do. I really wish anarchists would stop treating "revolution" as an abstract quality and just shamelessly appropriating stuff from Marxism when they very explicitly don't believe in it. it makes me want to sneer every time they say "revolution" because of the way it doesn't refer to a material process and doesn't actually mean anything.
