	this concept is well known with the United States and workers' states, or various Third World countries perceived as not having 'democracy'. but the really interesting thing is you can see it happening with the Soviet Union and Trotskyism.<br />
	it may also be possible that it happens with industrial empires and tribal populations. there is a strange new phenomenon of tribal populations getting weirdly insistent that anarchism is the only correct way of being human and they have the right to break open republics and tell them what to do, which wouldn't even be offensive except that none of the stuff they say actually makes sense. like, to be perfectly honest, I'm really tired of the United States so if you break it up I'm not sure I'd even care, like I want to be out of here and go to another country so it's not really skin off my nose. but what bothers me is they're telling people to urgently do a bunch of garbled nonsense toward no particular goal that nobody could possibly actually succeed at; that's where it gets insulting. I also don't like when theories from tribal populations inside First-World countries seem to infect First World people and possess them to talk more about cracking open Third World countries.<br />

I experience a wildly distorted perception of time where five minutes of waiting without doing something can feel like an hour but also weeks and weeks can go by and it feels like sunrise and sunset are intruding on my one absurdly long day so I just stay inside for a month because I already did my morning activities for that "day" and now it's going to be evening for the next few weeks until the task I'm currently trying to complete is over. when you don't have a standard-issue brain you quickly realize that your experience cannot be canonical reality because... hell, if the world ran on my perception of time plants would suddenly stop growing for a month, owls would be out for days at a time, government offices would sometimes open up for a few hours at 7:00 PM, college students would have a good two months to write a paper instead of a couple weeks, library books would be due in either two days or six months depending on the roll of a die, and the sun would set for four months at a time (oh wait, in Australia that actually happens). I mean, don't get me wrong, some of those things would be awesome. I'd love to see more owls. but I'm fairly sure there are people who actually perceive time consistently without huge lapses and think a day having a consistent number of hours in it is natural. so who's right? time can't actually be passing at different rates inside different people's brains, or I could wait four months to send someone a card and they'd think I sent it tomorrow; I don't think it usually happens that way.<br/>
			now, when it comes to Einstein, there are situations where time can pass at different rates in different parts of space. but the overall rule there is that for time to pass differently there has to be a causal event traveling between two points; if space is distorted in between the two points the path of the object will be warped, and if one point is far from the incoming object or event it will seem to be either in the past or the future. it's in the past in that if we see it from a telescope the thing happened long before we saw it; it's in the future in that if we could see it as it was happening (we can't) it would only cross all the way to us in the future. in a way teleportation is the original time machine, because if you could teleport to another star system you'd be seeing events that if you hadn't teleported would be events from the past. the overall relativistic event that travels from one point to another within time {{em\|is}} time. the past and the future are the things that send events back and forth between each other like a ping-pong ball, taking turns being past and future. that whole relationship defines what time is and what reality is and what perception of time and history should be. if you see the whole event from both ends it doesn't matter who has ADHD. but at that point the experience isn't "lived", because it can't be horribly distorted by my ADHD. do you see the difference? lived experience is a horrible contradiction betwen ADHD and not ADHD. reality, which contains two people's perceptions of time without contradiction, is not lived experience. Habermas practicing communicative rationality does not get rid of my ADHD. it's still there, and it's still a distortion of what's real, because owls do not fly around all day for fourteen days straight.
