			again.... the more a kingdom tries to deny it can form a republic, and the more unlikely it is a feudal order is going to turn into a Liberal republic, the more likely you are to get Communism. so when writers are actually going on about how fantasy settings "need" to never change as if they were the nobility in that setting or as if they believe everyone there believes it, it ironically makes it super duper likely you'd get Communism in those kingdoms because the peasants would {{censor\|fucking}} hate you for that<br/>
			fantasy stories are so funny because they often have technology now, so it's like we all want to live in a half-developed Third World country, but we all want to live in exactly the kind of country that would not stay a monarchy and if it were real would absolutely start building a Marxist workers' state. come on, fictional kingdoms aren't oppressed by the United States, they're not going to end up tumbling backward into a confusing jumbled-up warring states period like Afghanistan and Iraq and Iran, these settings have an inherent concept of progress in them, they're going to go forward, so you know where they're going to end up.
