I think this is way funnier if you leave off "children" and just let it weirdly imply that adults believe whatever they read in a kids' book. the point of it isn't that children must be protected from bad literature anyway, it's that the upper crust of two countries getting together to determine what both countries will be reading is gross. although disappointing, it'd be far less disgusting to know that reactionary-sounding literature was being written by Russians than to know it came from the United States and people are making excuses for it because supposedly the retailers of Russia are the whole Free Will of Russia. if the bourgeoisie currently have so much power to determine what books the United States sells to Russia then why don't they get together to make Russia buy good books rather than censoring them? why doesn't anyone ever ask that?

Main entry

1. Warriors is creating reactionaries (Russia) / Warriors made Russians bigots / Warriors is programming Russians to be reactionaries / Warriors is programming Russian children to be reactionaries -> derived Fisherist proposition. everybody says "well the books have to be censored to sell to Russia", but nobody thinks about the implications of what effect "selling books to Russia" has on Russia.
this proposition is at least 20% a joke, so I think it's way funnier if you leave off "children" and just let it weirdly imply that adults believe whatever they read in a kids' book. the point of it isn't that children must be protected from bad literature anyway, it's that the upper crust of two countries getting together to determine what both countries will be reading is gross. although disappointing, it'd be far less disgusting to know that reactionary-sounding literature was being written by Russians than to know it came from the United States and people are making excuses for it because supposedly the retailers of Russia are the whole Free Will of Russia. if the bourgeoisie currently have so much power to determine what books the United States sells to Russia then why don't they get together to make Russia buy good books rather than censoring them? why doesn't anyone ever ask that?
2. Chinese retailers not wanting gay representation in movies and U.S. retailers wanting gay representation in movies are equally good (derived postmodernist proposition) / Russians don't need Media Representation; if Russian retailers don't want to stock gay representation they must be the entire will and mind of Russia ->
step 1: pressure China into restoring capitalism. step 2: China and U.S. sell products back and forth. step 3: accept postmodernism to try to declare Communism over. step 4: Chinese culture doesn't like gay people, but is equally as good as U.S. culture that also mostly doesn't like gay people. step 5: gay people are over.
