world where Trotskyists surpass North Korea
/ world where Trotskyists have made as much material progress in the world as North Korea -> this one hurts, doesn't it. they can't stand tiny fortress states that have various kinds of suffering imposed on them by First World empires, and often try to pin that on "the Stalinists" so they have someone to attack. but it's a somewhat indisputable fact that — reversion toward capitalism or none — North Koreans have done more socialist transition in their overall history than Trotskyists ever have.
