{{li|I=S1/Fy|Q=618|Q2=618}}Rain World players doubting Buddhism / Rain World players doubting Buddhism (criticizing; unknowingly criticizing) while discussing game lore  ->  this comes up only occasionally but it is very funny. the Downpour developers put in an Echo that ended up on the edge for doubting Buddhism. that might have been an intentional informed placement of real-world phenomena. but every so often you see comments on videos that ascending beyond everything interesting that happens in Rain World 'seems unnecessary' and being beyond the sphere of struggle 'couldn't be better'. these comments distinctly don't feel like they're in response to real-world religions and yet, like, you accidentally got your players to criticize Buddhism just because you put a game in front of them that is arguably one of the best and most sensical versions of it and it still didn't make sense to them.
