    it's quite funny how when people read MLP fanfiction they actually start thinking about imperialism for one second. even if they would never question anything in real life. even if they wouldn't look at alien civilization fiction like Star Trek etc. and find it convincing. even if they wouldn't question the show's morality most of the time. somehow fan fiction has a unique ability to make people stop and go "wait, that thing that happened is actually messed up"
