"The Nightmare Within"
a young Twilight accidentally observes a weird foreign pony known as Starlight Glimmer conspiring with Princess Luna to banish Celestia. realizing this is her time to prove herself, Twilight resolves to stop the plot, and tracks down Starlight, figuring that without any friends at the ready it will be easier to talk to Starlight than to try to face Luna. with a bit of doing, Twilight ends up blackmailing Starlight into being her friend, having convinced Starlight that she will be in a world of trouble if Celestia actually finds out that Starlight tried to get rid of her, but as long as she becomes friends with Twilight her secret will be safe.
Luna realizes that the plot failed and gets angry. ... Twilight and Starlight end up having to fight Nightmare Moon with nothing but their knowledge and abilities. the fight is grueling. in the end, Celestia sees that they have won and congratulates them as heroes. Twilight presents Starlight with pride, but after Celestia leaves, she narrows her eyes at Starlight, making sure Starlight remembers who is in charge and who is guilty and still needs to prove herself. ...

"The Spike and Revolution"
dragons attempt to become anarchists in order to stop being a destructive empire, but they keep failing because every time a few dragons suggest that all the other dragons just need to be taught the correct ideals one by one and everything will be fine, the end result is just that they never actually win and a bunch of other dragons in constant rivalry all come beat them up
spike and rarity are there and are trying to fix this somehow.

"Memory Hole"
Autumn Blaze presents a stage play on the history of the SSSR, and the disappearance of the legendary founding figure Leaf Trotsoff.
after this Autumn admits that no one remembers any actual material evidence of "anyone named Leaf Trotsoff" despite him being very prominent in legend. the Equestria four and the Stellar four set out to discover where exactly these legends came from and who the real Leaf Trotsoff might have been.

"Snowball Earth" [reference to Animal Farm]
I don't know what events fit this title best but it's a killer title

"Childhood's End" [reference to Arthur C. Clarke book]
Solstice Leaves is becoming a complete entity for the first time and comes to the realization with the aid of their own mind that the journals and the input of "love" has forged them into a new functional 'adult'. a strange fantastical coming of age story ensues for the world's first democracy and its smaller components

"A New Generation" [epilogue]
thousands of moons after Solstice Leaves first hatched from the Long Winter and earned their horns, Equestria now exists as one of many provinces in a worldwide state called the Solstice Confederation, with no princesses and no feudal orders.
Sunny Starscout sets off to explore the other districts inhabited by other pony races and sapient species, to learn about their culture and make friends. but everything is different from the way it was in G5, and the _mood_ of it feels more like G4.
on the far horizon, a malignant alicorn formed of dark fire has appeared. Opaline is tired of this new era of peace and wants to section off the world to create her own empire in the name of autonomy and freedom (and anticommunism), collecting whatever followers want to join her instead of being destroyed. she is upset that the world is now a highly connected democracy, and wishes ponies would go back to respecting the natural forces / gods that brought it forth, like fire and chaos. the Solstice Confederation moves into action to treat this sudden new wound tearing apart the world body. it may be more difficult than they anticipated, but that doesn't mean it's impossible.
