Gaster appears to be the one presenting Deltarune as if he were the developer — "my" Delta Rune. in Undertale, Alphys replaces Gaster. Alphys proceeds to operate Hotland's puzzles as a fake TV show, creating an illusion of danger and conflict for the monsters and presumably Frisk. see the connection? Gaster and Alphys feel like the interpretation of <em>Inception</em> as a loose metaphor for creating a movie through illusion where the team pulling off the operation is the movie crew. | |||
