If capitalism breaking up populations and causing people to migrate wildly across the world and across each industrial country isn't a problem, then isn't every crime by Black people and every case of people being near crime technically people's own fault? If the Black Panthers organizing prisoners was useless to advancing permanent revolution, and modern "abolitionist" movements (Crenshaw / Gilmore) trying to frame movements around specifically-Black history and specifically-Black problems and "creating and world-making" but also around keeping existing socially-linked subpopulations concentrated together generally tends to be either ignoring Marxism or no better than socialism in one country, and almost every visible Black philosopher has been sliding into the Liberal-republican thinking of interpreting every event and phenomenon through race because it's their area's 'top ballot issue', then it logically follows that people in struggling areas with bad organizations are obligated to move out of those areas to wealthier areas with jobs for the good of the world proletariat so that nobody has to hear them complain about racism. I don't think people would be happy to hear that given that migration can require a lot of money they don't even have, and that is a lot of work and debt that capitalists can make people take on at the drop of a hat to build up new businesses every time they suddenly decide to abandon them. Really, it's scary how much of an argument there is to just tell Black and Hispanic people to leave the United States and go to Southeast Asia or one of the more urban parts of Africa for a job and stay out of the inherent danger of being in the United States, given that theoretically they would have an easier time contributing to worldwide revolution if they simply stopped having special oppressions at all, which are largely geographical in nature. If my racist relatives were to somehow discover that Trotskyists think integrating ethnicities and nationalities on an international scale and transitioning the world out of racialized thinking is a good thing and the Trotskyist solution to racism is simply to welcome immigrants, and then start saying that everyone who commits a crime or experiences a crime or even gets racially profiled and doesn't leave the area and go to a better city is just refusing to enter the age of the proletariat and advancing reactionary classes and older social structures (petty bourgeoisie, peasants, tribal society, gangs & prisoners when they resemble illegal small businesses or tribal formations), what do I even do? In one sense they would technically be right, because it's true that people's ethnicity has no bearing on what they can achieve as an overall collection of individuals, and it's true that anyone can be the proletariat, and it's true that prisoners can't lead a revolution, and it's true that Black people who stay near racists become prisoners or senselessly get arrested and become incapacitated. So... does permanent revolution just require people undergoing international racial integration specifically in every country except the United States?
