  1. Before-Communism calendar / calendar that is almost the same as the Gregorian calendar but starts at 1900 so that the Russian Revolution is year 17 ->
this is my answer to when Christians try to claim that the Gregorian calendar proves God. what if right now you were currently living in year 126 of the post-Marx era? would you stop believing in God and go around saying that proved Communism?

  1. Say that hypothetically, the world adopted a different calendar than the Gregorian calendar where the main thing that was different was the position of the first year, and the first year marked the time of an event which starts with "K", and in particular, its name also starts with "K" in German. (For instance, the German word "Kaiser" starts with a capital K, so the "K" on this calendar might describe something like the Roman Caesar establishing the calendar the world will later use instead of Christians, etc.) If there was a date that happened 1800 years before event "K", how would that date be abbreviated in German? Would the abbreviation look something like "VK" or more like "vdK"? [1] [2] ->
  2. Say that ... -> I admit to asking this as a prompt, but the answer wasn't substantial enough to put it on its own prompt page. so... I'll just archive the prompt here and call it done so everyone can continue counting my number of sins. I've recorded nearly every prompt I've ever put into an LLM, maybe 95% of them or so. (the unrecorded ones were basically all stubs like this.) so you can get a rather comprehensive idea from looking through this wiki "how good or bad" LLMs actually are and if they are doing any harm by replacing search engines. I honestly feel at this point like I've done more actual thinking on my prompt pages than I ever did using search engines, because of how the "Garbage In, Garbage Out" aspect of LLMs forces me to go back and think and make sure that the query I put in is coherent and I use each answer to make future questions all more coherent than previous ones if not necessarily more correct. the questions either get oranger or I create more uniquely blue or brown or charcoal questions that trace through the reasoning patterns of other philosophies that I don't believe. the AI didn't produce any of that interpretation but there is something about the adversarial process of two "logic engines" colliding which... how to say it... I think LLMs are smarter than social media platforms, search engines, or other "non-economic markets", purely because they contain logic at all. agoras purport to provide this process ("marketplace of ideas!" — an adversarial process of parallel factions striving upward) but they just never do. that right there is the shortsighted pitfall which has led society to invent "AI" to fill the gap. Grok exists because as a collective entity, right-Liberalism or clusters of Tory businesses will never be smarter than Grok.
  3. Skyroad setting ... -> I've been pretty sure that the way the Ironblood setting works is shortly after global capitalism is defeated the world gets a new calendar where the Russian revolution happened in year 17 and the approximate birth of Christ happened in year "-1896" or "1896 BK / v.K."
