MediaWiki has a feature for customizing various kinds of page functionality through individual tiny tweaks called Gadgets. These are generally optional, and can be enabled within user preferences.

Below is a clearer list of Gadgets currently available on this wiki and what each of them does. At the current time all of them are related to accessibility.

forward.css / wavebuild-forward

This Gadget reorders Wavebuilder characterizations into a format of A + B = C as in Wavebuilder dictionary files. It uses the CSS3 grid module.

shorthand.css / shorthand-rows

This Gadget collapses standardized collections of rows into their abbreviated form. Currently this only operates on Template:HuePalette. (Experimental feature)

colorblind.css / colorblind

This stylesheet redoes Item colors to be more distinguishable in a red/green colorblind palette. You may also find it appealing if you simply want more "vintage" colors, or want a beach theme.

colorblind2.css / colorblind-daltonized

The "regular" colorblind stylesheet is designed under a colorblind filter, and if you have full color vision requires a browser extension to properly test. This version of it shows the color the filter shows without needing an extension. You may use it to "experience" colorblind perception for extended periods without great effort. If and when you notice problems, what you should do is test colorblind.css, update that stylesheet, eyedrop the exact hex or HSL colors you see in your extension (if applicable), and put the exact colors into this stylesheet.
