The concept of "colonialism" is not the same as the concept of empire or imperialism. Depending on the theoretical framework, people will imply that any number of different things are "colonialism" and suggest all kinds of wildly-different remedies. Thus, it is important to sort these clashing ideas out into different individual models and the different plural intervention ideologies they represent.

Right now this Category is just a brainstorm of different propositions. Things will be better organized later.

Colonialism as global empire

Colonialism as chunk competition or genocide

Colonialism as "attitudes"

  1. Colonialism is common sense (proposed; ES) 1-1-1

Molecular colonialism models

Defining postcolonial theories

  1. pronounced 617. (S2)pronounced (MX) (S2): Dengism is a postcolonial theory 1-1-1
