This is a list of repeatable historical processes that have occurred or are likely to occur in multiple countries.

Proposed Items

  • blood feud
  • formation of local state
  • warring states period / three kingdoms period (generic) / Sengoku period (generic) - you would be surprised how many countries have had a "three kingdoms period".
  • formation of monarchy
  • formation of parliament
  • Tory attack on parliament - meant to be the 1600s/1700s one in England although an eerily similar, arguably interchangeable process can happen today. this would be the exact entry where I get my generalized definition of "Tory"
  • expansion over other kingdoms
  • expansion into fuzzy-bordered territories - Afrikaners, United States frontier wars
  • expansion over a buffer state
  • frontier war - generic
  • national liberation
  • formation of a party-nation
  • Deng process / Dengizing - the missing step in timelines of country development. a country or population is Dengized when it is split off from other populations as a self-contained economic unit. subpopulations can be Dengized without necessarily making any changes to the government layer. Trotskyists don't like Deng processes.
  • division of a country along global bloc lines - funny it's happened twice. note that both times, it correlated with a forced Deng process.
  • Zinovievizing - process that an ideology incompatible with a particular Leninism does to a Leninism, even if it is also a Leninism.
  • Kruschev process / Khruschevizing - the process of reversing a Deng process and exposing a country to unmitigated Filamentist competition to the detriment of nearly all its individuals.
  • WASP swarm - the major historical process of "proto-fascisms". you see the majority ethnicity clump up into chunks, and aggressively chunk-compete other populations out. WASP swarms are anarchic relative to the nation-state. they seem to be a response to the contradiction between a republic claiming to be at peace and not in a warring states period and every individual being in constant chunk competition. the WASP swarm seeks to restore actual balance by allowing individuals to band together into a "community" which dubiously has the ability to push out some people who would disrupt particular socially-linked groups of friends by pushing some of them out across the spatial slot hierarchy. thus, the WASP swarm is a kind of crude substitute for a localized party-nation, as in the 14 individual union republics of the USSR, formed in the conditions of a lack of overarching structure to keep towns or nationalities from competing against each other and killing each other. the WASP swarm is an archaic counterpart of Deng processes. United States; Afrikaners; Nazi Germany & West Germany; Russia/Ukraine. it is probably possible for a country to have a country-scale Deng process but still contain internal WASP swarms.
