one of the major themes that Existentialism is constantly pounding through people's heads is that the normal, original state of things is for human beings to automatically and immediately experience empathy toward anything different; if you propose that there are actual processes that force people to be racist whether they want to instead of people choosing to be Evil you practically get whacked upside the head and told that if you don't tolerate Existentialism and exactly what Existentialism thinks as a mandatory part of your life you'll be thrown in the ocean. at the same time, Existentialism never caused anybody to experience mandatory tolerance of the USSR in this sense, or any Marxist party-nation.
