- How do we know Frisk isn't a flower?
- Frisk and Asriel are in the same situation -> this feels like it could be true metaphorically, although not literally.
- Frisk is an animated flower [1] [2] -> this is a weird one but it is a lot of fun. the claim basically begins at Asriel being able to manifest as a monster even though he is really a flower. the question then becomes, how do we know Frisk isn't a flower??
Frisk and Asriel are in the same situation + Flowey = this. - All monsters create children by transferring their Souls
- Rudy died because his Soul had to transfer to Noelle [3]
- Rudy is dying because he smoked too many cigarettes (Deltarune) -> I would believe this. it's dark but it perfectly fits the tone of Deltarune rather than jumping into supernatural magic stuff too fast.
Creating the Underground[edit]
- Undertale's secrets hint at how The Underground came to be
- The Underground is a creation
- Souls are Dark Worlds / Souls are a thing you jump into (Deltarune) / Ralsei's heart marking may be a hint at what monster souls are in Deltarune
- Determination is injected into whole worlds in Deltarune -> why is it that Alphys is putting Determination into individual monsters, when in Deltarune Determination only seems to be used while creating a Dark Fountain? there's some analogy between Dark Worlds and Undertale which is not immediately obvious. it's not as obvious as just "Undertale is a Dark World", and has something to do with what objects can have souls and whether the Core is a soul and whether Determination creates souls, etc.
- Gaster sealed the monsters underground; they remember it wrong
- Gaster used Dess to create Undertale / Gaster commandeered December's mind to create Undertale -> sounds insane because you couldn't see it from within Deltarune (currently). the claim is that the Core is some kind of engine to create Undertale and the deer skull represents December although she does not exist on the level of Undertale, only (somewhere under?) Deltarune. Gaster is not critical to this theory; any character who did this from within the shelter would count.
- The Forgotten Man increasingly became W.D. Gaster as he got more forgotten
- Undertale is an alternate world where Kris turned into Chara -> this is easy to misunderstand. the claim here is that Undertale is like the Dragon Ball arc where there are two versions of Trunks and they're two different entities, but this time all the bad stuff happens to the small one rather than the big one. Kris is Chara, but Kris the entity isn't Chara the entity.
- Kris turned into Chara when they became a Roaring Knight -> follows from the concept that Dess became The Knight by becoming a disembodied soul separated from the world
- Alphys does the puzzle show as part of being royal scientist -> this would have been very hard to catch before Deltarune. but look at it now. Gaster appears to be the one presenting Deltarune as if he were the developer — "my" Delta Rune. in Undertale, Alphys replaces Gaster. Alphys proceeds to operate Hotland's puzzles as a fake TV show, creating an illusion of danger and conflict for the monsters and presumably Frisk. see the connection? Gaster and Alphys feel like the interpretation of Inception as a loose metaphor for creating a movie through illusion where the team pulling off the operation is the movie crew.
Gaster[edit]
- Gaster was spread across time and space because he was already dust before he fell in [4] -> this seems relatively likely to be the actual explanation for why Gaster was "scattered", and how the Goners can hold "pieces of him". we can get some idea that he scattered outside the bounds of every game world where monsters turn into statues. we just don't know what he fell into.
- Gaster put himself into a phone to enter a Dark World -> follows from Mother series. note that Lightners in Deltarune all already have a physical object body, but it's suggested Undertale monsters don't.
- Gaster fell into his creation because the Knight creates Dark Fountains and Dess disappeared into her creation -> the phrase never made sense until now but this almost has to be the answer for where it came from
Sans, Papyrus, and the blueprints[edit]
- Papyrus is a head because he is a ghost [5]
- Papyrus is a head because he got chopped in two trying to go to Deltarune, but his body is somehow still alive
