  1. György Lukács

(1885–1971) [1] / Georg Lukacs -> he is said to be one of the founders of Western Marxism and one of the first "Marxist theorists" to attempt to focus on consciousness and reification.

in a way, that explains a lot, because it seems like he was one of the least prone to errors when using Western Marxism and then everyone who followed his lead went in a downward spiral steadily making worse ones. so his framework was either really hard to use correctly (possible) or contained a few assumptions that were just plain wrong (also possible; a framework having errors in can definitely make it harder to use).

  2. tutorial for new users: you may make your own prototype page to record claims a particular figure said, etc., by creating a page of the form "EC:9k/Vidak/Q49,34". copy this page, paste it into a new page, then go to "Permanent link", and put the integer number into the "duplication hint" at the bottom for the change summary. (you can say other things in the change summary, but don't forget the link. it shows everyone where to get page templates, namely from any other similar page.) the way I like to do it is copy the permanent link, edit, paste the permanent link into the edit box, and then copy the whole thing to a new page, where I take out the permanent link / duplication hint and move it to the change summary. then you remove all the content unrelated to the current page including taking out mentions of "RD"/"Vidak"/etc to put in your own username. (after you make one page with your username you can just copy your own pages.) one day, I may make a more automated process for doing all this using Templates, but not before I finish re-coding number lists and the "Ideologies or fields" sections become much easier to make.
for the prototype pages (pronounced EC:9k), don't worry about whether things you say on the page are "wrong" according to me, it's about recording claims to be examined and sorted out as true/false on the Ontology pages (E:). any major gripes I have about "EC:9k/Vidak/Q49,34" will show up on "EC:9k/RD/Q49,34", trust me. as well, you can see pages like 9k/RD/Q41,17 for examples of how to take back your own errors. as a general rule, you leave them on the page if they're big, although with some very small things like typos and outdated jargon terms you might just directly edit them out.
