Main entry[edit]

  1. "Color revolutions" are revolutions / Color revolutions are revolutions (Liberal-republicanism, Existentialism) -> metaphysical statement about the overall category of all revolutions including workers' movements. not a statement specifically about workers' movements.
"Color revolutions" are revolutions + ?? = Color revolutions can be models for resisting Toryism.
  2. Color revolutions are revolutions -> it makes more sense for the statement in the positive to be the proposition. in general having propositions that are said confidently enough that they could be clearly false is a good proposition construction because it makes it easy to decide whether propositions should be marked F2 or not
  3. "Color revolutions" aren't revolutions (meta-Marxism; metaphysical statement) -> this is false when you define revolution as a regime change, and true when you accept "Revolution cannot be exported" as part of the actual definition of revolution. I'm not totally sure which one of these I subscribe to. I know color revolutions aren't good but I don't know if that means they are or aren't revolutions.

Related[edit]

  1. Every color revolution is blue / Every color revolution is aligned with the Liberal-republican tradition; this is to imply but not require that every color revolution is part of either the Liberal-republican tradition or the Existentialist-Structuralist tradition
