/ Kantianism can never successfully regulate a separate countable population of people (existential materialism; descriptive statement) -> Liberal-republicans keep thinking "Our Democracy" is enough to stamp out "fascism", in the process basically appealing to Kantian ethics. but this is the crux of why Kantianism doesn't work on capitalism or Toryism. or Trotskyism. all of those things divide a population in two. and once a population is divided into two populations you can't apply a single "democracy" across the gap between them or it's imperialism — really, the more it leans into trying to control every individual inside a population and tell them all it's mandatory to be a certain way or take over all their land or social structures or smoke them out of the area if they don't cooperate it's colonialism. that is not a prescriptive statement of what is good or bad, that's a historical fact about what things are. materially speaking Kantianism is colonialism.
