I swear. everybody would suddenly have a light bulb go off that Liberal-republicanism is based on letting stupid people make objections to real sensible answers and would have this terrible dread-filled vision that <i>oh god, we've been doing everything wrong</i> and there would just be this mass flip over to various Marxisms
