618. W.E.R. (pronounced W.E.R.) LaFarge Name-Unknown - culturally-defined Communist ally / charcoal color? he wrote plays but apparently the big thing he did was own a watershed to keep it from being developed. not a very Marxist approach ... but I liked reading his story so he's a card now.

• the river thing makes me think either anarchism or Existentialism. but Existentialism is so often anticommunist it seems like too much of an insult.
• Could be filed under Western Marxism. the line between Western Marxism, anarchism, and Existentialism can get very fuzzy.
