Usage notes

Currently, I can't think of a meaningful difference between "fictional character" and "fictional individual". As far as I can tell they are generally the same thing in every instance. There are hypothetical individuals which are not fictional characters, but I cannot think of any specifically "fictional" individual or "fictional" person which is both an "individual" and not a "character". So, the more general Item will simply be "hypothetical individual".

It is true that in the broadest use of language, objects can be "individuals" of that object, but in such a case the Items are simply being called "objects", while "individual" is being used to imply "person".
