prototype notes
the concept that it is possible for a given country to consist of two or more totally separate populations of capitalists, which only appear to be one population because the borders are fuzzily defined and corporations leak from one side to the other. multicapitalism is suggested as the mechanism for how center-Liberals and Tories can become so divided to the death against each other when all the bourgeoisie should "theoretically" be on the same side. if multicapitalism is real, China would not have multicapitalism but the United States would. one of the few concrete things the CPC would have accomplished in terms of building Bolshevism or transition out of capitalism is not allowing multicapitalism to develop.
