Usage notes[edit]
Different groups of theorists may posit different definitions of "advanced workers", but this is a point of contention when theorists are attempting to actually determine which workers are useful to building a party. In terms of effective definitions of Leninism, it seems advisable to define an advanced worker in relation to the concept of filtration — the ability of workers to sort out bad facts and theories and guard the party and the process of sorting people out of the greater body of social-democrats or great numbers of workers and peasants as all of this proceeds to take shape.
