david rejects story dragon and shortly receives suggestion 4-5

> we all have our place on this spinning rock. why leave out dragons? 15

either gruffen or the freezer threatens frostbite 28-29

Inuit tusk holds bear of creativity 37

> dragon names begin with a guh 42

dragons became clay. 44 a bit like plants became oil

bergstrom is a cryptozoologist. sneakily hiding his real work 55

lorel the bear known from old book of Inuit legends 58

david is adding to the lorel mythos 68

tiny dragon egg 98-99

goth girl proves to be true friend 108

liz oddly upset at dragon book 110

> we need each other; it's always been the way 127

> Liz, having a baby? 130-131

bergstrom missing in 1913 148

when Gawain died the earth died a little 183

oh god she's gonna resurrect the dragon? 188

> what's in it for her i'm pretty sure she needs the descendants of guinivere to find the tear 192

> lizzie catch snow 226

> ... but a dragon's fire was never intended to kill. it was an instrument of life 242 I don't know why, but Gwilanna's story of prejudice against dragons is just not compelling the one earlier was reasonably good, but this telling falls flat and it's not because Gwilanna is being mean, because here she's just telling facts

I guess, this depiction of the dragons feels flat. you don't really know what was lost. I felt a lot more in WoF where individual dragons with personalities were being slaughtered senselessly (by other dragons)

> she's killed all the dragons 285

rain gets tired and makes deal with the devil 290

> found it and brought it back 309 interesting theme here - isn't that about what happened with the watch?

the snow is everybody that died in it 332

gwilanna wants to make a dragon king of the earth 355 Now I can't help but think, Icefire is the alternate timeline to Wings of Fire

> his spirit 363 Now hang on. how do they have a soul besides their fire? I thought "spirit" and the concept of fire here had the same definition

it occurs to me throwing David into the floor was some kind of echo of Guinivere supposedly drowning but really walking away on the ice 374

fire was the invention of winter 375 as opposed to only the tiniest shreds of ice I guess we're maybe looking at a tropical planet vs ice age kind of thing

wait, no, Thoran turned into a polar bear 374 so it's at least gaia's invention of any cold climates.

but humans are still creating climate change 375

i'm increasingly doubting that bergstrom is a person and not the earth 378 she's a hedgehog, and a bear that possibly died, and Guinevere

the contract is cursed. 421
